Diti Mookherjee

Chief Executive Officer, ASED

Diti Mookherjee is a Fulbright-Nehru Fellow for Environmental Leadership 2011-12. She is a founding member of ASED. Ms. Mookherjee has over 30 years of experience in social development, with professional work experience of 25 years. She worked for eight years in SAHAY, a non-profit organization, affiliated to Children International, USA, conducting a child sponsorship in 10 districts of West Bengal with 28 partners. She was a consultant to the DFID supported West Bengal Civil Society Support Program (WBCSSP) in operation from 2006 till October 2009. She has been a consultant to the various health sector organizations including Technical Assistant Support, and has served as the President of the Development Research Communications and Services Centre (DRCSC), a renowned organization working on natural resource management.

Managing Director, East India Pharmaceutical Works Limited

Mr.Amit Sen is the Managing Director of one of the leading pharmaceutical companies in India, the East India Pharmaceutical Works Limited. He was the President of the Indo-American Chamber of Commerce. Mr Sen holds the Directorship of a number of other companies. He is an active Rotarian and is engaged in social and philanthropic work.

Rekha Basu

Director, Keshava Plantations (P) Limited.

Rekha Basu is a Director of Keshava Plantations (P) Limited., a company that owns and manages the Azizbagh Tea Estate in Assam. She has been involved in managing educational programs for children from economically needy families for over thirty years. She presently runs a computer education school for economically needy youth. She has written books and material for radio broadcasts for popularizing science education among Assamese children.

Saradindu Banerjee

President, SPADE

Mr. Banerjee has work experience in the corporate and social development sector. He is the Secretary of Self Help Group Promotional Forum of West Bengal and the President of SPADE. Mr. Banerjee has served as the Program Manager for the West Bengal Civil Society Support Programme (WBCSSP) funded by DFID. He was the founder Director of SAHAY, a non-profit organization affiliated to Children International, Kansas City, USA., managing over 22,000 sponsored children.

Sonali Mukerjee

Grants Manager, Altman Foundation,New York City.

Ms.Mukerjee has been in the not-for-profit sector for over nineteen years. She started at UNICEF, New York then moved to the philanthropic sector and working for foundations, such as, Carnegie Corporation of New York, The Ford Foundation and currently working as Grants Manager at Altman Foundation in New York City. She has also assisted several small nonprofit organizations with their fundraising efforts. Ms.Mukerjee was also a former international ranked tennis player.

Sumit Roy

Advisor, Branding & Fundraising

Sumit Roy is the founder director of Univbrands. He has been showing people how to ride the brand communication motorcycle since 1987. Sumit learned how to build brands the hard way - 14 years with Ogilvy & Mather and 4 years with Lintas (now called Lowe) - before deciding to start Univads which later evolved into Univbrands. Sumit is visiting faculty at Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad (IIMA), Mudra Institute of Communication (MICA), Ahmedabad and Symbiosis institute of Mass Communication (SIMC), Pune.
